Knock Sensor and Low coolant temperature reading
I had two codes, a code for the second O2 in bank 1 having a bad circuit (I knew about this already) and a P0332 bank 2 knock sensor fault.
So I figure those two are relatively obvious replace the sensor issues. Could the knock sensor fault be something else?
With the car idling I scrolled through the parameters being overwhelmed by all the information.
One thing that seemed odd was that the Engine coolant temperature read at -40 F until the coolant got to about 185 and then suddenly read the correct temperature. I assume this means that the temperature sensor in the head is bad, but there were no DTCs related to it.
I also have a high-rpm miss that occurs while passing through 5400-5800 rpms. I believe that is either the knock sensor, coil, or optispark and intend to address them in that order. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jason
