? about O2 sensor
If it's disconnected, will i get a check engine light? i'm trying to verify a bad ECM....I lost my O2 sensor the other night (it was crossthreaded, and blew out of the bung) and even disconnected I didn't get a check engine light.

When I bought my 85 the O2 sensor was disconnected and did not set the SES light. There were so many things wrong I think the ECU had given up trying to keep track of them all. After I got everything sorted out when the O2 sensor did go out of range it set a code.
