I am sick of catching rubber on partial throttle shifts into 2nd. Does anyone have a D36 with 2.59 gears for sale so I can replace my POS D44 and 3.54s.

I wonder why?

Even in my (much) younger days when I had plenty of time to burn and no backaches, it looks like it would be quite a challenge to accomplish a 20-minute plug and wire change on an LT-1. I assume the L98 is somewhat easier due to a more conventional distributor?

How about...
I just bought one of those super cool neon blue and green under car light kits from Auto Zone. Where should I pull 12 volts from?
or
My wife wants to know where to strap the kids car seats down in the back of the car?

If you whine about changing spark plugs, don't even bother to work on your car... All cars can be a b**ch to work on. A true car guy shouldn't really let it bug him much, I think.
I used to have an eclipse. you should see THOSE forums!
"why is this ______ broke again? I just replaced it!"
"my AWD broke!"
"my tranny broke!"
"how do you fix this?"
"motor knocking!"
"my CV Shafts are broke!"
those cars are made like a beer can, with about the same quality.
IT'S A CORVETTE!!! The ultimate American sports car! If you don't like working on it, then take it to a mechanic, and go watch tv.

My LT5 has too much power and I am sick of the sound of its V8 exhaust. I am thinking of performing an engine swap. Has anyone done a YUGO I-4 installation on their ZR1. I am not dead set on the YUGO engine so if someone has information on a low powered imported engine that has the soothing I-4 exhaust sound (like a cheap blender). Please let me know. I am still looking for a D 36, does anyone have higher gears than 2.59, like 1.0?
