Can someone look on the firewall and take a pic. or give me a description of where the cable from the shifter comes out. I know one goes through the floor but how is the other one routed? Thanks.

Do you mean the throttle valve cable from the trans to the throttle body?

No. There are two cable that come off the shifter in the interior. One goes through the floor and goes to the trans to shift it and where does the other go? My floor around this area was a little burnt when I got it so I am not sure where this cable goes or how to route it (rebuilding the car).

Can you be a little more specific. About how it routes if you can. This is what I started with so you can understand. I've just about gotten it back together if you can believe that.

Not really. All I have to go on is a line drawing in my parts and illustration manual. It appears that the cable goes forward from the shifter, then to the left behind the dash, under the steering column, and up the left side of the column, where it connects to a link in the column at a position of about 10:00 o'clock to 11:00 o'clock, as you look down on the steering wheel from the driver's seat. Is that long sentence confusing?

That actually makes a little sense. I've got a picture of the cable going into the left side of the dash but I pulled the cable and shifter out before the dash so I don't have a good pic of where it connects. And its been about 6 months since I pulled it, so my memory on a few of the pieces is a little foggy.
