Starter Replacement
Can someone please tell me where to find the starter on my 92 lt1? Also, I think I have a good idea on where it is, just want to confirm, how do I go about replacing the starter? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
I've got the car on jackstand already and was under it this weekend. Before I start disassebling, I need to make sure I know what Im taking apart. Thanks again!

most if not all SB chevy starters are at the right rear of the motor. (passanger side rear) You will see from below looking up.
Lift the car and SECURE it on jack stands NOT cinderblocks or 2x4's
pull the Neg side of the Batt, slide under from the passanger side and you will see it. It has a few wires going to it, should be 2 or 3 bolts 9/16 I think. pull the wires off , drop the starter. Have it tested or replaced it.
PS. buy a book on your car, it will help you alot.
