ZR1 dash swap
My tach doesn't go high enough (1990) with the new engine. Is swapping in the dash stuff from a ZR1 pretty straightforward? Are there any "traps"?

I believe the only choices in a Tach are the 6500 RPM standard, and the 8000 RPM ZR1 tach.
Lingenfelter has offered to change over to the 8000 RPM tach for several years, but it is a "send the dash to them" mod.
Only other difference in guages is the oil temp guage, which is different also on the ZR1.

What is different on the Oil gauge?
90-91 Will swap with your 90.. 92-96 will not unless youchaneg the LCD and rewire a couple of the Warning lights..
Also as far as i know the 94-95 ZR-1 dash and 96 LT4 dash used the same part number
