'93 CPE Power Windows not working properly
I just purchase a 1993 CPE with power window problems. The following is the problem:
>From the Driver's door switch, the driver's window goes up and down.
>From the Driver's door switch, the passenger's window does not go up and down. It will go up if the window is already down.
>From the Passenger's door switch, the passenger's window goes down, but will not go up.
Any ideas, anyone? I would greatly appreciate your help in troubleshooting this problem.

Mate,thats a pretty tricky sort of problem...have you tried swaping switches around?? It might sound a bit stupid, when i had my 87 the left window was very slow up and down, and i lubed the regs, which changed nothing, and when the switch failed and the window was down and wouldnt go up, i swaped the two switches, and then the left window went the same speed as the right one did,so i bought 2 new switches and the windows went up and down like brand new. AND they were alot faster than with the older switches. I have a 94 now, so im not sure how easy you can connect other switches to the other sides if you know what i mean,but test all the switches on the plug that works for you left door, this will tell you if the switches are dead or if its a wiring issue.
