Default Has your Delteq/LTCC died?

With the raging debate in another thread (another Delteq vs. Dynaspark debate) I am looking for anyone who has installed either only to have it fail due to the Opti going south. We all know the Opti's weaknesses and I am curious to see if every conversion is still going strong. This could be the defining thread on wether to do Delteq or Dynaspark install. Please no testemonials on either just the facts. Thanks a lot.

the only failure related to mine was water got into the LTCC brain.

Bob fixed it ASAP. It was caused by a bad o-ring. I sealed the lid with RTV and life was good.

My Delteq is still running great after one month -- not much of a longevity test yet.

Installed Delteq in July 2004 about 8000 miles ago. Perfect so far.

No problems with the LTCC and the opti is still bad which is why I did the conversion in the first place.

I have the LTCC and Dynaspark, not a single hiccup.

I orginally bought the Dynaspark but after reading reviews about the LTCC I decided to go that route which is why I have both.

the only negative I can think of about the LTCC is that it is not a complete bolt on kit. however it was worth the effort

30,000 visitors a day to the site and only 8 people have these systems? Not a real ringing endorsement I guess.

Well if your looking for 30,000 people to chime in on a subject that has be discussed numerous times in the past, then I think your expectations are a little high. Over the past couple of years there have been many who have giving these systems high praise, including those who's opinions here are well respected. I don't think you could go wrong with any any of these system (ie Delteq, LTCC or Dynaspark),. All are an upgrade from the original GM opti.

also If not satisfied with the responses on these boards then do a search over at camaroz28.com. There are many more guys over there using one of these systems with similar results. just my 2 cents

Especially since you asked for info on failures and "no testimonials."

there are only a handful of members with LTCC... I can only think of 5 or 6... Me, Mojo, Goody, superlund.... I think there are a couple of others.

There may be a few more DelTeq users, but I don't think that number surpasses 20.

Great response. Almost sounds like he's hoping to find problems, for whatever reason.

For the record, I installed the Delteq in the fall and could not be happier.

Any response with the amount of time it has been installed is fine. Yes I am looking for failures of both the Delteq/LTCC and Dynaspark to make a good reference as to which is more reliable. Thanks for the answeres so far keep em coming.

No problems with the Delteq on my 94 396 LT-1. Car sees 6800 RPM's weekly at the drag strip.

knowing this crew, if either system had major design faults, we would know about it.

I hear ya Bogus just wanted to get the stuff in one thread if possible.Seems no one so far has had any major trouble with either Delteq/LTCC or Dynaspark. I am also curious about how many guys use either system instead of OEM Opti&cap/rotor
