Default injector servicing question

I tried the search, but I am looking for a company that services fuel injectors. I think I read it runs about $10 each, and I think I have some leakers. Can these shops increase the fule flow too? Thanks to all

Go to "www.tpis.com", and look for fuel injector service.

I used Rich at Cruzin Performance and it was about $8-10 each plus a little more if you need a replacement. Service was good and the flow sheets and diagnostics he provided for both before and after cleaning were very useful.

As far as I know if you need bigger injectors you have to buy them that way or raise the fuel pressure.

I've had Rich do two sets for me and am quite satisfied with the work and turn around (48hrs shop time).

He cleans, leak tests, flow tests and will blue print them if needed and requested (the BP work may be a little extra, depenging on work needed).

Buy new Ford Motorsport injectors. About the same price for the cleaning/analysis of your GM injectors.

At $10 apiece to test them why bother? I just picked up a brand new set of Bosch Design III ijectors for $130 + shipping which are all matched to 1%

PM me for details if you want to see if they have any more.

After contacting Rich, I described the injectors on my 86. He informed me that the set was mismatched with Lucas and Rochesters and that I was better off buying a new set. Five-O Motorsports had a slew of used and new sets of 22lb Bosch on eBay for 180 bucks. Bought the new ones...

Coupla notes.

The new injectors are $189 a set with a 3 year warranty. The used sets are $179 with a 1 year warranty. Hmmm, 10 bucks for two more years?

I also installed an ajustable FPR whilest everything was apart. Very good idea! These injectors like a little more pressure.

Anyways...... Thanks Rich!

He did great work. The injectors came back looking like new, and flowing like new (at least thats how the car feels, and what the sheet says.)

You couldn't ask for a nicer guy than Rich@cruzinperformance. 3 years ago, I had some stubborn, rust-like crud in my injectors that took multiple cleanings to flush out. Rich didn't charge me an extra dime for all the additional effort on his part. He even called me to tell me what he had found and offered advice on finding the source of the crud and thoroughly flushing the fuel delivery system. I wholeheartedly endorse his services.

If yours are the stock style 85 injectors then I don't think he cleans them. The cleaning ruins them. Buy new.

Rich told me specifically that the 85 injectors were more desirable and definitely worth cleaning and hanging on to.

More reliable, and better flow.
