CD player and drivers seat

My 1993 40th anniv. car will not accept a CD in the CD player any ideas? The drivers seat side supports don't operate in or out, any ideas?

Thanks for any suggestions.

The LT1/4 gold bose cd player are junks. My 93 cd player quite 8 yrs ago. The C5 bose radio/cd player are much better and improved. As for the power slide seat mine is still working fine.

1) The CD is junk. Check the audio section for detailed solutions... this includes replacement or repair

2) Side bolsters? mine don't work either... have yet to work on it...

Before you junk the CD try Dr. Dons. He does a fast turn around on repairs. http://www.drdons.com/

My bolsters did not work either. I just changed the switches on the front of the seat and they now work fine.

I would strongly recommend NOT fixing the Bose. This is a waste of money.

Get yourself set up with a much better aftermarket system. This will far surpass the woeful subpar performance of the Bose system, and you won't be subject to its limitations.

This is definitely an example of one your typical "no brainer" decisions.

RCH72 (Same Day Audio) will repair it for you for about $115 shipped. This includes a one year warranty. Look him up on Ebay, he does great work

I complaint to Bose 2 years ago and they rebuilt all speakers amps and drivers for free. I sent the headunit and CDM to a place in S. Fl who appeared to do a good job. That cost was bout $200.00. Removal and install was a major PIA
