will 96 shocks fit 87???
I have a chance to pick up a set of 4 Bilstene shocks cheep. They have been on a 96 for about 15,000 miles. Trouble is, my car is an 87, and all the catalogs show a different number for the 84 to 87 as opposed to the 88 to 96.
A man at the junk yard says his "GM crash book" shows they should fit everything from 84 to 96, except for some special versions around 91.
Is this BS, or can I use them on my 87 ??
