Default Reset Stereo

I had to jumpstart my 91 Vet and now my Delco stereo is acting crazy. Can I do anything to reset the radio, or do I have to have the dealer reset the stereo

Definitely call the dealer!!!
Sometimes there is a little magic.
This works on newer Chevrolets.
Turn on the key, with out starting.
Push the Gas Pedal 3 times and restart.
That will reset some of the electronics.
I hope this helps.

I am not sure what you mean by "acting crazy" but this is the procedure for reseting the Delco-Bose system (assuming that a personalized security code was never initiated):

1. Turn the ignition "ON".
2. Press "SET". "000" should appear on the display.
3. Press AM/FM. "000" should appear again on the display.
4. Press AM/FM again. The clock display will appear and the radio can be turned on.

If "LOC" appears on the display, a personalized security code has been initiated. If that happens you need the number and a slightly different procedure applies.

After eight unsucessful tries, "INOP" will appear on the display for a few seconds and the system won't let you try again for at least one hour. After that, it won't let you try agian for one hour after every three unsucessful tries.
