Default Calling Uk Vette owners -

I'd like to hear from any vette owners in the UK, especially in the Suffolk Norfolk area. I grew up there as a kid and will be there this June and July.

It would be great to meet anyone with a vette, of any era. I contacted the Corvette Club UK and the American Car Club 4 weeks ago and have had no reply so thought I'd try on the forum.

www.myvette.20m.com has info on me and my 1988 vette - love to hear from anyone in the UK. The only contact I have is with Britvette and he is a bit too far away from where we are staying in Ipswich.

Hi Rob,
I'm in the UK too, but way up in North Lancashire on the West Coast.
You have a nice vette, I wish mine was a RHD, makes overtaking easier doesn't it?

Hey! glad to find there are some C4 UK owners here too.

Thanks for all the replies - How come you nearly all live 'up north' ?? it must mean something!

JohnUKVetteNut - glad to hear someone else is using their vette as a daily driver - as you're the closest contact so far (except for a yellow 69 big block vert C3 with side pipes at Woodbridge) - I'll email you in a day or too.

I just returned form the UK last Friday night. I only saw one corvette and it was a C5. We stayed in the Essex area.

I kept looking for vettes, but only saw the (1) C5 and it was LH drive.

Good luck. If you get something going, let us all know. I visit the UK four times a year and would love to see the cars there.

yes, I'm surprised at the lack of C4 vette's - I've had some replies from C3 here on the forum and now am in contact with a C4 owner in Suffolk - I'd like to hear from anyone else in that area - I'll be missing mine, it would be great to meet and talk about our obsession while I am there this June/July

Default UK vette, suffolk.

Hi, I own a C4 vette and I am based in Stowmarket. Should be around at the time you visit the UK. Vette had stood for 3 years when I purchased it and Iam still working my way thru her, ironing out the problems as I go. Hope to have her on the road sometime this year. Maybe we can hookup whilst your here.

Hi TeamGreen - I was born in Stowmarket ! I'd definitely like to come and visit some time - I've learnt a lot about C4's in the last 2 years - hopefully I'll know somethging that will help you....or learn something from you.

What year is your C4?

Default 86 vette

HI, 86 is the year, Rebuilt the engine, modded it abit, NOS it abit as well. Body and interior stock, like to be able to put it back to original spec later if I wish to. I have too learnt a lot in the last 8 months, either by working it out for my self or getting info and help from this forum. Can not put a price on the help I have got from people on this forum. So a big thank you to them. Email when you get a chance and we'll work out dates etc.
