Default LCD circuit causing battery drain

I traced a parasitic battery drain to the LCD circuit today on my 84 Corvette. The dash works but is sometimes intermittent. Is there any checks I can do on the dash to find out why it is causing the drain like checking grounds, etc?

Any help greatly appreciated.

There is a piggyback circuit board on the rear board which is the power supply and it has several components that are always connected to the battery. Most likely they are the cause of your leakage current. You can get a circuit diagram for an 89 from
