Opti Position for Restart?
Finished my cam swap. Now I can't get it to start. I can smell plenty of fuel so I'm figuring spark or timing. At first I thought my valves were too tight so I loosened them a little so I'm sure they aren't sticking open.
I'm now thinking th opti position or whatever is out of wack w/ the computer. I can't find anything in the Helms manual about this but I know it exists.
Also during this cam swap I changed to the 95 style opti from the 92 if that makes any difference. I'm 90% positive I have wired up the new harness correctly also.
Please help me! I reallky don't want to tear into it again!!!!

So, how's the car run?

Really good. Suckers got some good rumpety rump with the new cam. I have been driving like Granma though cause I want to give it a little break in before the higher RPMs.
BTW that tip on the opti connectors was correct. I just went by the numbers on the old and new connectors and she runs great.

Still set around 800 to 900. It really idles fine there. Funny thing is, it is much easier to stall the car and kinda get it in a tizzy. So when you are letting the clutch out do it fast with a little more gas. If that makes any sense.
