Default Dumb piston question...
Dumb question...Last night, I pulled the heads from a 350 motor I bought several years ago. Each piston reads "30" on the top. Does that mean it's a .030 bore?

i would say so

break out the dial bore gauge to be 100% sure

Yep, sounds like it might be .030" over. Bore should check about 4.030" if so.

Thanks. Yes, I'll give that a shot. My Dad and Mom are coming over today and I'll ask him to bring his dial bore gauge.
