I am running Hooker headers on my 95 LT1 with 6-speed and corsa exhaust. I need to know which catalytic converters will fit. I had the car up on a lift today trying to figure out how to get the cats to fit without melting my floorboard or boiling my transmission. I need a cat small enough so I can put a heat shield on it.
The dynatech cats from summit are 4" diameter and 11.5" long. They appear to be the smallest cats available. Does anyone have experience with these cats? I need to pass a Texas sniff test.

Should I be concerned about passing a sniff test?
They say that about a lot of aftermarket parts because they have to. I've got a pair of 3" straight thru stainless cats that are only about 5 1/2" total width with heat shields already built on them. You should have no clearance or heat problems on a six speed if you're putting them parallel to the trans. You should have room to spare. These are new and unused. If you can use them, $150 for the pair.

I run the Dynatech PowerCats on my heads/cam/EM Headers 94 M6. It passed Missouri's emissions testing with this setup. But, I'm getting read to run a larger camshaft, who knows then.
