1986 convertible rear hatch stuck !!!!!!help please
i put my top down on 86 conv,now it wont open,,i hear a slight click when i prese the relese,i pulled those black wires but maybe not hard enought.are those two black wires the manual relesees???????help cant put top up..tony

the black cables are the release for the 5bow pins of the rear of your top. the electric button releases your decklid so it will come up. The handle sometimes will break on the cables, and the plastic cable housing will sometimes slip out of the crimped metal bracket, so you may have to manually pull the cables on each side in order to release the 5bow. hope this helps!
