Im finishing up putting in a hotcam kit and eletric water pump in my 94 and was wondering if I should install the timing and water pump gaskets dry or use some sealant on them?

RTV all the way. I know that some felpro gaskets say not to, that is BS I learned the hard way.
I use my finger as an applicator and smear it on in a thin, even layer. You don't want gobs or RTV squirting out when you torque the bolts down
I agree, I used a high temp only because of the temps of the engines and also living in Florida I sure didn't want it breaking down(the sealant) as it is not the quickest job to do.
good luck

i have been using copper coat head gasket spray. goes on nice, no extra goo seeping out, and once it gets tacky, you can place it on the surface without it moving around.
