My left door doesn't close very well after I changed the targa rear and top weatherstripping (I have to slam it quite strongly to make it close and the window doesn't go fully up when the door is closed).
I've heard about a door adjustment to resolve this problem.
Can anyone tell me about this issue : how to adjust the door?
Thanks in advance
Greg
My doors shut the same way. I was thinking after a little time the new weatherstrip would compress and all would return to normal. Its been 1 month since the install and it hasnt changed yet. Dont know what to do either.
It sounds like you did only the top weather stripping and now that does not align perfectly with front & rear.
The only "fix" would be to remove the door panel and adjust the window guides so that it, when it rolls up, it does not roll in at such a sharp angle. But be careful that the front & side weather stripping still contacts the window tightly enough to prohibit entry of water.
