Default A/C Problem

Bought the car 3 months go with te A/C working. Now it doesnt. I throught a code....cant think of it but it says i have no change in the the PSi of the A/C lines. I checked the low end pressure i am way hi on refridgerant. Could i have a bad valve or the hi pressure casue things not to work? Could the hi heat i am gettign down here in Florida now cause higher PSI?

Do both fans run when you kick on the AC ? If not the pressure will go way high.

Sounds like the orifice tube is blocked. I just had that on my Eldo.

The tube is like a $1.99 but you should evacuate the system of refridgerant, replace the tube, the drier and the o-rings where you seperated the lines (at the tube and the accumulator). Drill a small hole in the accumulator when you remove the old one and measure the amount of oil in it. Replace that same amount of oil in the new accumulator with fresh oil then close the system as quickly as possible. Evac it again and then add your refridgerant. You should be cool as the other side of the pillow...
