Default Headers in....one small prob, though

I finally got the long tubes in, and they sound awesome! It's nice to see hard work pay off. However, when putting everything back together, I seemed to have misplaced the sensor that connects to the compressor. I, for the life of me, cannot find it. Does anyone have a clue as to where to look? As of now, my compressor won't spin, and in Phoenix, at 115, I need my AC!

By sensor I assume you mean wire connector??

Not sure about lt1 but on the L98 the wires run along with the injector wires in a plastic sleeve above the valve cover. The wires to connector for AC exit that sleeve at the front inside a small wire flex loom then go to AC compressor.

Maybe it fell down up front. Lets hope it didn't get caught up in the pulleys and serpentine belt.

Yeah, I hope not. I just drove my car home and I barely made it back because I got dropping voltage. This was only a 10 min drive or so. Either way, I'm going to have to find that connector, because somehow I'm not getting a charge from the alt. I think I might have installed the alt and compressor over the wire, so I'm going to investigate....If anyone else has some suggestions, send them my way!

did you find it??
if not the compressor plug is in the fuel injection wiring strip on the #1 cylinder bank. It should seperated from the main strip very close to the point where the alternator plug does as well. Did you misplace them both? I have forgotten to plug the alternator back in and i drove for about 20 minutes dropping voltage the whole time. then the gauges shut down and i barely made it home. Check that stuff out.

And if you broke your plug or crushed it or in any way ruined it, let me know because i have deleted my a/c so i could clip off my plug with as much pigtail as you might need...
