Default brake bleeding, air in master?

So I boiled my brake fluid at Putnam Park and decided that it's really time to bleed the brakes.

After going through the motions the pedal still feels more spongy then I remember. Is there anywhere else air could be in the system?

I've heard about bleeding the master cylinder, how do you do this?

Thanks,
JCD

Some remove the cylinder and "bench Bleed" it. What I do is.... I remove the front and rear brake lines from the inboard side of the master cylinder(10mm and 12mm I believe) then I screw in my plastic bleeding adapters that you can pick up at most auto parts stores, in their place. I then run a clear tube on the adapters back into the master cylinder resivoir. Pump the breaks until you see no more bubbles.

I'm not sure if you can bench bleed it in place, if the pushrod moves the pistons the full travel, you can.

Then just disconnect your lines, thread in your bench bleed kit, pump the pedal, and reconnect and bleed the lines.

The bench bleed kits I've seen are all SAE, and don't fit.

You need a metric set (12mmx1.0 and 10mmx1.0 on my '85). I found a set at napa, they're the blue ones on the doodads rack.
