FYI - I talked to Pete awhile back and he said that they have revised it now and it's 227/232 .565/.580 112LSA and they are ground by Schneider.

Spoke with Pete last night. You should call and talk to him about a GP, he said he would do it.

The specs for my cam are:

valve lift .570/.575
duration 286/294

camlift .380/.385
duration .050 224/232

lobe separation 114
degree intake lobe to 112

Apparently they have slightly tweaked these cam specs. I asked Pete why, and he said that it was a little to much for the LT1. He said that for the LT4's it is still fine, because the LT4 heads flow much better.

I will be getting them custom ground, so you could probably order either!!

when i talked to him about the cam spec differences he said yours was a little bit less wild because you wanted a better idle but the 228 would still work fine in an LT4

His car has a very tame idle for the "size" of cam that it has - almost unnoticeable.

I didn't want it to sound like a dragster.

I love the sound right now.
