How do you remove the tv cable from the transmission on a 93 vette?
Why?You cant remove it unless you plan on running a manual valve body.Out of curiosity I thought the 93 had a 4l60e tranny which does not use a tv cable? But any way the tv cable controls your shift points and line pressure without your tranny will not shift

I want remove the transmission. The rear seal is leaking
If it is like the one in an '89, there is just one little bolt on the top of the transmission that holds the cable end in place. The cable itself is shaped like an "L" on the end and hooks into the plunger or valve thing inside the trans. Make sure to unhook the tv cable end from the trottle body linkage first. If you just remove the cable bolt on the top of the trans then pull the cable housing up out of the trans and wiggle the inner cable some it should come loose. At least that's how my '89 was, hope it helps.
