Try Meguiar's new NXT wax, it goes on easy and comes off just as easy and no white leftovers. I use it on my dark blue truck and love it. The Vette is black but just freshly painted so I haven't used it on there yet.

NXT is a polymer sealant. The fanatics among us each have a favorite
As a wax Pinnacle Souveran seems to reign supreme
Among the sealant afficionados there are: Klasse AIO, Meguiars NXT, Poorboys, Rejex, Zaino and Zymol to name but a few.
I am a Rejex fan myself. That it on my '88 in the Avitar. Original paint by the way
I have used Meguiar's NXT on my wife's car and use Zanio on my 87. The Meguiar's was easy on and off. It did not leave any residuals. Based on my experience Meguiar's NXT it needs to applied at least every 3 months as it stop beading water. Zanio on the other hand takes several steps to apply and it does not leave any residuals. In a side by side comparions of the Meguiar's and Zanio. The Maguiar's does not look as deep as the Zanio nor does it last as long. Maguiar's will cast about half as much as the Zanio that said I could say I think you would be please with either one.

I agree, there are real waxes and there are polymers.
IMO polymers will not be affected by heat, water etc. nearly as quickly, and I believe it can then protect the paint better. All of the prod. mentioned are good. For a good quick "wax" I like the nxt. gen mcguires, on the vette I like ZAINO.
I've had great luck with Zymol on black cars. Smells really tasty, too. It's $15 to $17 a bottle, but well worth it. I just tried the new Eagle One "NanoWax", and had pretty reasonable results, for just $8.
I just use Meguiars Professional Mirror Glaze Hand Glaze which is a polish. It's great for your paint because it has moisturizers... no residue and no wax buildup. In between I use Meguiars Professional Mirror Glaze Final Detail (spray wax) also no residue and no wax buildup. I've bought some Rejex which I'm planning on hitting the car and wheels with soon. I bought a big roll of cheesecloth which is really soft and use it to apply and remove wax or polish. I've used the Meguiars NXT in the past and it's a good wax but I've never put it on my car. There are so many good waxes out there that you probably can't go wrong just make sure your paint is clean and you use something soft to apply and remove the wax.
I used Zaino for three years, great product. For my car I now use Pinnacle Souveran. It looks the best on my black C4. There is NOT a product out there that wipes on/off as easily as Souveran.
Zaino man here. BUT claybar your surface first. One thing about Zaino, on some red finishes, the color seems to be off a little. A friend of mine was a Zaino user and tried NXT and the red came back to the original color. Now on my polo color, Zaino makes it pop!
