Anyone know of a good step-by-step shock removal (all 4, non-selective) web site for my 92? And where can I find the tool that is supposedly used to unscrew the top of the front shocks? Thank you much!
I replaced all four shocks on my 92 last fall and don't recall needing a special tool to remove the fronts. I installed a set of KYB's and (just looked a minute ago) all that was required to hold the top was an open end wrench.
I don't know of a step by step website outlining the procedure, but Richard Newton's book: 101 Project's For Your Corvette 1984-1996 (ISBN 0-7603-1461-6) provides a good overview for this and a number of other tasks.

the special tool i used was a sidchrome open end spanner,in conjunction with a sidchrome ring spanner. Your shocks may be a different brand, but ive never seen one that needed anything other than these 2 tools. I know i needed a VERY big breaker bar to remove the nuts on the rears though.
