Changes in Alignment?
However, I don't want to ruin a set of soft tires becuase I did not get the alignment done.

Once again I agree with Nathan.
Changing your wheels/and or tire size does not necessitate a wheel alignment. However, how long has it been since your last 4-wheel alignment? If it has been longer than a few thousand miles, I would spring for the 60-100 bucks for an alignment, since it is cheap insurance against abnormal tire wear.

Here is what I am in the process of finishing up this week.
Removed Exhaust and installed a set of Headman Headers
Removed Frizbee
K&N Server
Rear Tie Rod Ends
Rear Tow Link
New Dist Cap
New Rotor
New Plug Wires (8mm Taylors)
Things to be done in the next two or so days
Alignment (Today)
New Tires (Today)
New 3" Exhaust from the headers back. (Tomorrow ??)
3" Random Tech Cats
3" Electric Cutouts
H Pipe
MagnaFlow Mufflers
While doing all this I dropped off one of my tires that kept loosing air. I Figured that it was a bad bead seating becuase the old tire\rim was filled with fix-a-flat. They had to clean the bead area with a wire brush to get the tire on. However, when they checked the tire the found that the rim has two pin holes in it. So.... I am moving the car from older saw blades to Z06 Rims that are 17" up front and 18" in back. Moving the 17" Koumo tires to the 17" rims and getting new 18" rims with new tires for the back.
With everything going on with the car I am hoping for a nice boost in power from where it was at.
Thanks for letting me know that I was on the right path with the Alignment.
Good luck!!
