LT1 Header fasteners
Hey, I was wondering if everyone could tell me what kind of header bolts/studs everyone is using. I'm really only interested in the LT1 applications. Curious to know what was done with the bracing bars that were attached to the stock header bolts. If you can tell me what length you're using. I need to get some ordered to have for this weekend. I've got Exotic Muscle headers so if you're using those, even better. Thanks!

I just installed EM longtubes last week on my 93 LT1. EM told me they had these great Locking bolts for $49.95, I said what the hell and bought them. Well none of the fasteners that go on top to lock them would fit without trimming down the clips. I would rather just check Trq once in a while instead of messing with those. I returned them and bought some 3/4 in. ASR header bolts from a local store, appears they will work fine. You will need to re-use your original bolts on your oil tube, Alt., and A/C brackets.
