Default Hood wider then bumper!?

When I bought my car a new hood was fitted by the previous owner, a new front bumper was given but not fitted. I got around to fitting the bumper today, now one side is completly flush, lines up correctly and is perfect, but the other side sits very inwards like the hood is too wide, or the bumper not wide enough if that makes any sense?

Ive had a look around but to no success, can anybody help?

Thank you.

My 96 also is like that in the front... It almost looks like the hood flares out just in front of the wheels...

My previous 96 was flush, but not this one...

The large brace that is in the front where the emission canister is.
Losen the nut on the part that covers the wheel.
Its around the lower hood prop bolts.
If you losen all the tork bosts in the wheel well you can grab the front valance and pull it over.
Tighten the bosts as you go.
If need be you can smack the wedge brace ,with a big hammer to get it to pull over to the out side of the wheel well.
Only the bumper needs to be aligned not the hood.
