i took the vette thru emissions today and she passed with flying colors with NO emissions equipment on the car.

all pass. put the heated O2 sensor in last night and had 1 or 2 bars above 1/4 tank and added 2 bottles of 91% isopropyl alcohol did the same thing on the first attempt and it failed bad. both times i didnt even bump down the timing.

good for another 2 years

seems like she's running really strong now. from a dead launch at 1200 rpm on DR's she laid about 100 ft of posi marks before i let out....lol i guess i nailed the tune finally

yes. a well tuned motor will pass emissions as long as the cam isn't too big. i'm on the stock cam.

 

she's running like a scolded dog now! feels about 30 more hp. before the car would bog on the launch. now it just lights the DR's up. well i just retired the DR's for a set of tires i purchased from a forum member till i get my 315 DR's for the 11x17" Amolds i got. on street tires i blaze them up as long as i want.

 

thats great to know they still pass vettes.
