'94 LT1 A/C pressure switch problem / how to replace?
So I'm pretty sure my pressure switch is bad so I pulled it and went and got another one. As you can see in the attached picture the wire terminal is not included in the new one. How does one get this apart to put the new one together? The new one comes with a lock ring but I can't see that anywhere on the old one. Very confusing...anyway, hopefully someone can help as it's starting to get hot up here finally.

They gave you the wrong part. The pressure switches on your '94 screw onto the a/c lines and are easily replaced without even discharging the system. The sensor that they gave you is one that fits into the backside of certain compressors like the A4, which your car does not have.
