Default help before big boom !!!

Ready to blow up my 94. It will just shut down while driving down the
the road. So far have replaced the optic spark, the pcm, the egr, the
fan relay, the spark plugs and wires, and the cpc along with other
odds and ends. All done at the dealership. The car has 128,000 miles
and I am wishing to replace. But need for it to be running.
P. S. sometimes it will restart with no problems, others it needs to
be flood started. Can anyone help with this.

When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? Or the fuel pump.
And what is "flood started"? if you're saying the engine is flooded and you have to hold the gas pedal down to start-then maybe it's time to hook up a guage and check the bleed down on the injectors to see if there leaking. If the engine is cold and it starts right up, but won't start
after its been recently run-that might also point to the injectors.

Thank you for the quick response. In answer still have the
orginial fuel pump and filter. I have to assume that the dealership check those and the injectors for leak down and correct pressure, but not sure. If this would happen on a dailey, hourly bases, I would fully agree, but it may shut down
three times one day then not happen for a week. And yes sometimes it needs open injectors to start and sometimes it will start just like a cold start. Once again thank you, I now have something else to look at.

it sounds like the dealer doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground.

He is throwing parts at it, and costing you big bucks... all cause they don't know how to diagnose things.

A bad opti will throw codes long before it just quits (most of the time).
