Had a physics instructor that jokingly professed that every thing electrical is really run by smoke and that wiring is actually nothing but a delivery system for that smoke. "Once you let the smoke out, it won't work". Seems to be true of so many things like relays, computers, monitors, etc.

Dam! Did Packard wire ever make a version of this? I just let all the smoke out of my Bose system; luckly I didn't let the smoke out of the carpet! I wonder if I convert my Vette to right hand drive will I be able to use this?
