SR Intake Gasket????

What is the intake gasket (FEL-PRO) for the Accel SR Intake manifold?

I'm using 1205 and it seems to seal good.
Others will say 1204 are better.
For my application with trickFlow heads the 1205 are a must.

The SR base is actually right between at 1204 and a 1205...

When I was trying to fit gaskets, I could NOT get one that fit perfectly (too big or too small). I went with the 1205 and a mild port job (which was another story unto itself).

You could always get the 1204 and trim it.

Doug, my heads are 190cc (actually 187cc), and my SR manifold was lightly ported to match a 183cc LPE port job.....the 1204's were the perfect match in my case.

I get mine from Competition Products for about $14. Mr. Gasket also has a clone set that's maybe $10 at Auto Zone. Mr. Gasket owns Accel, so you'd expect those would also work.

CHIT! No help at all,

I was trying to figure out whether to go with AFR 180's or AFR 195's and the fella told me if my intake needs a 1204 gasket, get the AFR 180 and if it uses a 1205 get the AFR 195 heads......guess I need to toss a coin eh? Even better, maybe I will run a poll for which heads I will get. Thanks though now I know the deal!

hey Brad, did you check the paint card out I posted the other day?
