Well the dyno today did help a little. I was having trouble with my new motor. When I shifted to sisth gear, The car just stumbled and bucked violently if you tried to accelerate. Looks like my problem is a weak dist and electrical set up. I guess 100,000 miles can do some parts in. The air/fuel ratios were (As best we can see, Since we could not really complete the pulls.) very close to perfect. We were able to get the car to accelerate hard but the miss was obvious under the dyno and rechecked under a engine analyzer. The problem is in the dist/electrical. Will have more to follow up on. Will retry the dyno in a week or two and let you know how the chip really finished. But right now the computer tracings look good. The car pulled (rear wheels,) 220hp and 270fpt at 3500 rpms before we had to shut down. Not good. But not bad considering the dist.
The torque sounds way off. Get some good spark in there and you'll be pleased. Why were you in 6th gear on a dyno? Was it a mustang dyno and you were doing some cruising speed datalogging?

Tq an HP are way off. A stock head and cam car can pull 275hp and 350 tq conservatively.
