fuel prob when cornering
my 88 vert when im under half tank of fuel i cant corner hard or punch it, the car pretty much stalls when cornering hard then goes again. and when punching it, it same kinda prob, but not with a full tank.? any ideas, weak pump or ? thanks

i would think there should be baffles in the tank to stop that from happening? but there could be crap at the bottom moving around when your turning and slowing the flow up. i haven't done mine yet but it seems easy to pull the pump *** out of the tank right from the gas filler door.

I've seen the baffles just floating around the tank because they are no longer bonded/glued to the bottom of the tank. If that's the case, there is no fuel held for the pickup tube when turning thus causing starvation. This seems to be a common problem.
