Default Opti vent system install

I've been running (maybe 200 miles/month) my '95 with no venting on the Opti since I did a water pump change last fall... . I just got a new kit and am going to install it in the next few days. Has anyone ever installed one with the water pump in place.... I know where the connections are but they look tough to get to.......Thanks !

Since the vents are on the bottom of the opti and is behind the balancer I think you will have to remove everything again just like when you replaced it.

If you can get your hands on the ignition wires on the opti, you should be able to find (feel) the hose connections for the vent. One will be next to the coil wire. This may be the one that is partially blocked by the water pump. The other will be below the bottom ignition wire on the driver’s side. May be able to get to this from under the car? From the opti, the hose next to the coil wire will attach to the throttle body intake snorkel. The other attaches to the front of the intake manifold beneath the throttle body. May need to remove the throttle body to access.
