Before I tear into this has anyone seen this DTC pop up? (I searched to no avail) Apparently a 96 will use speed density if the MAF fails.
The DTC will clear until the motor is fired for the first time, it stalls. Then on the subsequent fire it uses speed density and runs like nothing is wrong. Pretty dam cool huh? Something to be said for OBDII.
