Spark plug wire routing.....OK?
I am putting new Taylor 8mm plug wires on my 94LT1. I got the kit to put them on top of the valve covers. It looks really nice but I am wondering where I am going to route the wires down to the opti. On the passenger side there is plenty of room but they will be close to the coil. Will this give any electrical interference? On the drivers side I can route them in between the alternator and ac compressor. Will this give any electrical interference? I coulde route these down and around the ac compressor like to OEM's but I will a bit of the look. Does anyone have any experience with routing over the valve cover wires on LT1's?? Thanks for any help.

I just put on Taylor Spiros. I rerouted them because the stock locations are too tight to mess with. I've had no trouble running them further out front and around the compressor/alternator. I believe they are better shielded than the originals, so I would say try it and see.

Do you have headers? I've read some stuff on here that you need different angle boots with headers for a LT1. My headers are on order and I'm going to replace the wires once I get the headers installed. I'm hoping the plugs and wires are a little easier to get to with headers.

i don't like to see any kind of wire if it can be helped, seems like more clutter. the way you mentioned has a kit and i would like to see pictues. curious to see how clean it looks.
