Roller Rocker Questions
Two questions after searching the forums and reading piles of posts:
1. Does anyone have any actual experience with aluminum roller rockers failing? I know I read a few people recommend steering clear of aluminum because they would need to be replaced since they're not strong enough, but I wonder if people just think that because Aluminum is softer, or have they learned the hard way?
2. I read all about the differences between the 1.5 and 1.6 and even using 1.6/1.5, but why would anyone want to use the 1.52 RRs?

1) Not actual experiance but a guy that maintains fleet vehicles tried rollers and said they had to be replaced at about 20k miles. If they are forged there shouldn't be too much problem with the body, its the rollers themselves that wear out.
2) Why 1.52 instead of 1.6? More lift isn't always better. The 1.52's are usually more uniform in lift than the stock stanped 1.5's
