Default 383 stroker kit.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put a 383 stroker kit with a TPI cam into a 86? The kit is in a jegs book for about 1100 and the cam is like 160. With this being done and some port work done to the heads and intake and lingenfelter long tube headers, and no mufflers how much HP would this thing produce?

If you do this, loose the TPI intake. It would create tons of torque, but would run out of gas at 5200 RPM.

i have a short block for sale here
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=962577

this would allow you to build it and still drive the car!
reallize that a 383 kit does not include the machine work necessary to accomplish this - and my short block has had this done already!
