Bias spring operational... nice!
A couple of weeks back I installed a DRM brake bias spring in a new M/C that I'd had in reserve. Tonight I installed the cylinder in preparation for a planned C5 brake upgrade this weekend. It's a whole different feel. I took the car out afterwards to some serious twisties that start just a little over a mile from the house. Hitting the brakes to prepare for entry now does nothing to alter the "set" of the car. It slows down but the steering continues as it was, as if you had not hit the brakes at all, except of course the car still slows down and quite well I might add. I realize that the improved front braking that will soon be installed, MAY put things back more like they were before but if so... I'll put an adjustable bias valve in the cockpit if need be. This is a great addition to that feeling of control we all seek.

sweet that's what I want to hear, my bias spring is sitting on my kitchen table along with my Keyless entry and it's in line behind my install and flush of brake system with new 13" hd brakes for the front and all new stainless braided lines ...
... and now that I pulled the passenger side half shaft and polished it along with putting in new "off road" Precision heavy duty u-joints and polishing up my u-joint collars and bolts with a wire wheel ... it looks so sweet under the car now that I'll have to do the driver's side whether it needs it or not
Where can I get one? I'm putting front C5 calipers and rotors on my build and thats the only thing I have left to buy. BTW got any instructions on installing it?

DRM, Mid-America, and Corvette Central all sell them. I got mine from Corvette Central, and it had a Mid-America instruction sheet with it (go figure). If your spring doesn't come with instructions, you can download the instruction sheet from Mid-America as a .pdf file. Just find the listing for the spring in their catalog and there's a link to the instructions.
It's not bad to install if you have the right tools -- snap ring pliers are a requirement. I did it tonight in about 15 minutes start to finish.

I also have DRM bias spring sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. I have already done the C5 brake upgrade. What a difference! I actually have brakes!
I am also worried about the install. Someone told me once you take apart the MC it never goes back together properly. But it sounds like others have done it with no problems.
Maybe someone with experience could add the procedure in Tech Tips?
