Default ASR feels like it is changing

I may be imagining it, but it seems like my ASR has 'loosened up' some and allows me to get a little looser before coming on. Actually what I've noticed is that I can get it slightly loose coming out of a corner on the power and the ASR doesn't come on. today I thought it might be broke and took it to a parking lot and spun the wheels, but it came on, but only after about a 1 sec. chirp.

Has anyone every had this happen?
thanks
Ken

TTT one more time.

Anybody ever felt like the ASR was letting them get looser than it had been?
thanks

i think it is partly your imagination. i think it boils down to your driving getting better and more experience with a car with a lot of power. when i first got my car it seemed ASR was always kicking on.( it had 125k miles on it when i got it) but the mor i learned the car the more i can take it closer to the limit without ASR coming on. just my two cents

check your cables. I wont say exactly because i dont know 100% how to adjust them.. but i have tinkered with the adjustment on the cables and can make it overly sensitive.. and loose enough to allow a little spin ( delayed asr). Im going to guess your cable may have a little slack. whats happening is when the asr is pulling the cable to close ur throttle.. the play in the cable is making it give the slight delay.
