Default Still wondering afew things!!!

Are manual/crank windows a possability on a C4?How would one go about it?Is there a bolt in manual steering rack avail.?Also are/were there radio delete plates avail.?and lastly any problems putting 15" drag style wheels on a C4? say 15x10's and 15x3.5's I'm thinking of building a mostly drag C4!!THANKS in advance-Dominic

I don't know that it really matters. The "Corvette 1984 Specifications" manual for my earliest of all C4s, lists as standard equipment: "Electronically seek-and-scan AM/FM stereo with digital clock and 4 speaker system", and "Air conditioning and power windows". One would have to check if there were ever "radio delete" or a P/W delete options, but I'd bet against it.

Yep, all standard C4s are hydraulic non-adjustable clutches.

I would like to do that mod as well man, (crank windows)

I hate the early ribbon style windows, and don't want to pay for the newer scissor style setup.

If you don't mind it, I've seen people make windows pull up/ pull down with seatbelt material, and seatbelt clasps. Pull it down and clasp it to shut the window, let it up to open the window. Problem is it's always either up or down, no in between.

But if it was a more often than not track car, It'd be the next best thing to lexan, I suppose.

I dunno, I think I'd do it.
