Default Fram fuel filters

OK; I know that not too many folks are thrilled with Fram oil filters, but does anyone have any expierence with their fuel filters?. I happen to have one laying around, & its for my `87 (Fram part# G3727- stamped "MADE IN TAIWAN") No Sh&t!

If their fuel filters are anything like the oil filters, I would certainly be hesitant about installing one given the work involved.

The AC Delco filter is probably a better bet and the cost is not a lot. You can probably put the Fram filter on eBay and make money on the deal.

My 98 GMC Sierra pickup started running funny one day like it was running out of fuel. I stopped at NAPA to get a new pump and when they told me what it cost I couldn't believe it. The counter man asked when I had changed to fuel filter last and I told him around 5,000 miles or so. He suggested I try another one first so I got a NAPA Gold from him. When I got the Fram off the insides had came apart and were blocking the fuel flow. That was and is the last Fram filter of ANY kind that I will ever use.

Fram is now owned by Honeywell (Not Allied Signal) but until I see significant quality improvements, I won't put ANY of their products on ANY of my cars. That's rediculous!

I'd go with Bosch or AC/Delco fuel filter. I bought mine from NAPA and went with the Bosch.
