Default 8 Rib setup...

Just ordered my 8 rib setup from Greg at BlowerWorks. Should be here in a few days. I will post pics when it arrives. To bad it's not going on the car for a while. As usual Greg is a great guy to deal with, very helpful. He did alot of research and legwork for me that was not really necessary on his part.

I have mine on order too ~Froggie dances~

Have to wait til I get back from vacation to put it on... My 7 rib belt is coming apart, i guess this makes for a good reason to change to the 8 LOL

You will not be disappointed. Typical Greg quality. Did I mention all of the bolts are ARP now? Incredible. The ATI balancer/Blowerworks kit is *THE* way to go for all Vortech users. You guys are going to fall over when you see how much cleaner the install is.

My setup came in today. That ATI 8rib superdampner is a nice looking piece as well as all the other pulleys. My setup is different due to the fact that I have one of Gregs kits to begin with. So I was not modding an existing Vortech kit, but all very nice stuff to say the least. You have to love a guy that packages everything with seperate little instructions and notes on nearly every piece.

Could someone post photos? I'd love to see the components as well as the installed kit.

I make due with 6-ribs for now, but if I go T-Trim (or JT), it sounds like the way to go.

Yeah dam, I mailed Greg a few weeks ago, looking for some suggestions/idea's on my setup. I got more help than i was ever expecting. It's hard to find people who are so willing to help these days. My hat's off to you Greg, from the sounds of things, so will be the rubber on my tyres

The discharge tube seems modified or at least different from the stock Vortech one. Can you let us know what's different with it?

I had greg weld in a bung to accept the water/alky injector on the underside of the elbow. That's the only change to mine. Oh, and he polished it up real nice.

He is also working on a coil relocation kit to move the ignition coil/module down to the crossmember to clean up the install. It looks pretty ugly the way Vortech has it hanging out way up on top. I'll post pics when I've got mine in.
