Default GS340 Dyno results

SDPC 10.4 compression 383, SDPC/LPE Stage III heads, GM 847 cam, ASM 58 TB, LPE LT4 intake, 1000 CFM maf, MSD blaster coil, Dynaspark, MSD wires, cold air intake, NGK plugs, EM long tubes, 3inch cats, and 3inch power effects, and x-pipe.

- first run is mail order tune. You can see where the power started breaking up because of lean AF ratio.
- second run is John's (woodbridge dynotech) tune from April with 2.5 inch exhaust.
- last run is John's tune from Friday with 3 inch exhaust.

Looking good......

Wonder how much of the gain was from 3 inch and how much from the tune???

Seems to be an endorsement of 3 inch exhaust system.....

The 3inch exhaust helped a lot. Most of the power increase came from the exhaust work. YOu can see down low there isn't much of a difference but higher in the RPM band you can see where the extra 1inch helped. No loss of power because of lack of "back pressure". Less pressure MORE power.

Looks like it is making good power,
I also have a fairly low CR (10.7:1) but a little less cam (CC 306).

For the most part. give him a call. If you want him to tune your car you will need to leave it with him for a week or two. He still isn't 100% yet.

Here you go, I had a dead miss at 3700 RPM that is the downward spike and I found an exhaust leak a week or so after tuning so I think there is another 5-10 left in her with another tune but before I tune again i want to try a BB resinator instead of the stocker to try freeing up the exhaust a little.

Default Nice numbers

Nice looking curve there, Rob.

Your last tq and HP curves have the shape of mine with the Hotcam and 3 inch exhaust, but yours goes way higher on the scale. I'll never see that 400+ with mine. It is interesting that with the bigger 847 cam and Stage III heads, your HP curve begins to drop off at about the same rpm as mine does with milder setup on both.

YES! I figure there are a few ponies in the cats but 407 is enough for now!

Thanks...
Have john build you a 383! You will see a 400+ for sure... Are you still going to the dyno day since the car is out of comission.
