Default Scanning software for an 85?
I have read some mix information can anyone confirm that WinAlDl works with an 85 ? I'm just starting to get into this and I dont know if it does or not?

i don't see why it wouldn't - check their site though, and verify -

this section is looking for specifics on your VIN or perhaps the "model" of your ECM

Yes, WinALDL will work on an 85 Corvette...in fact that is the vehicle the author devloped the program for.

Are there different versions of WINAlDl? Who makes the best cable?How much?

The most reicent version is up on his site and you have to make your own cable.
