Cut Lid Pics

I have a K&N Air Filter and would like to cut the lid for more air flow. Does anyone have any pics and directions on the mod?

Here's the K&N and cut lid on my "91" Vette.

All you do is cut the lid opening out with a metal bladed jig saw, die grinder or dremel tool.

I used an air powered grinder to cut mine open. It was VERY easy to do.

when i did this mod i ran it for about 2 years, got a very dirty K&N filter and that's about it. i went back to my stock lid.

its easy and fun to do though, and won't hurt anything. it's useful in concert with a car with more extensive engine mods.
